The Yeah! Factor: Customer Experience – Many companies have mastered the art of transactional service…the basic steps and standards of delivery. But they are still missing the mark when it comes to winning customer loyalty. Those companies fail to recognize that customers don’t come in standard sizes: expectations are unique to each of them. The Customer Experience component shows how to get your employees to go beyond just making the transaction. Participants learn how to create service that yields compounded interest…where every employee does just a little bit more then what customers expect. This creates a powerful customer experience.

Location: Spirit Communications Park (Fireflies Stadium)

Nov 15 , 2018 6-9pm    “New Dentistry for the Aging Mouth ”  (3 CEU)

Presenter:  Dr. Randy Huffines

Dr. Randy F. Huffines is recognized as one of the country’s leading experts on aging and oral health. He is a frequent speaker at meetings such as the Hinman, Chicago Midwinter, Academy of General Dentistry, Pacific Dental, Yankee Dental, California Dental, Texas Dental, and 10 out of the last 11 Annual Sessions of the American Dental Association. He is known for his ability to take complex oral health issues and translate them into easy-to-understand concepts and practical techniques the entire dental team can use immediately with their patients. Dr. Huffines is one of only a handful of practicing clinicians in the United States who has completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry. For the past 25 years, he has treated older and medically complex adults in a traditional private practice, in hospitals, and in nursing homes.

New Dentistry for the Aging Mouth – ADA statistics confirm that older patients are a large and growing segment of the oral healthcare market – growing so fast, in fact, that their numbers will double to over 79 million during the practice life of current dental graduates. This “Senior Tsunami” is changing dentistry. These aging boomers have a very different attitude towards dentistry than did their predecessors. They no longer consider tooth loss an inevitable consequence of aging and are willing to “put their money where their mouth is” if the dental team is trained to meet their unique needs.  Providing quality dental care for these patients can be very rewarding but also very challenging due to an array of complex dental and medical conditions that become more common as we age.
